Drew Gerth scores 4 vs. Shelburne
The Royals came out firing Saturday night, after two tough losses vs. Seaforth and Ripley over the previous weekend.  The guys were hungry for the win and they didn't disappoint!


Rookie forward #11 Drew Gerth was quick to put the Royals on the board, scoring 50 secs into the 1st period with a goal assisted by #10 Sean Kienapple and #12 Greg Noyes.  A few minutes after, Gerth added another to put the Royals ahead 2-0 with 15:10 to go in the first.  Assists were given to #10 Sean Kienapple and #28 Patrick Vulgan.  After 1 period of play, the Royals lead 2-0.

Gerth's linemate #10 Sean Kienapple kicked off things in the 2nd with a goal at 18:54 assisted by #10 Sean Kienapple, assisted by #12 Greg Noyes and #28 Patrick Vulgan.  

With 9:46 left in the first, Gerth completed the hat trick putting the Royals ahead 4-0, assited by #10 Sean Kienapple and #28 Patrick Vulgan.    After 2 periods, the Royals were up 4-0.

Shelburne got on the board finally with 12:34 left in the 3rd, but it was #11 Drew Gerth who rounded out the night's scoring, with a goal with 6:33 to go, assisted by #10 Sean Kienapple and #28 Patrick Vulgan.  

Goaltender #30 Jensen van Boekel, secured his 4th win of the season, improving to 4-1.  

Royals scoring came all from the Gerth/Kienapple/Vulgan line with support from #12 Greg Noyes from the point.
