The Royals will be holding our annual tryouts between August and September as we gear up for the 2024-2025 Hockey Season!
The Tavistock Royals compete in the OEHL (Ontario Elite Hockey League) Sr. AA category. Our league is a member of the OHA (Ontario Hockey Association) and is positioned as both a destination for graduating Jr players, but also any returning University and semi-pro players - all of who wish to continue playing competitive hockey.
Our 20 game regular season runs from October to January with games being held Fri-Sun. At the conclusion of the regular season, the top 8 teams continue playing for the AA Championship while the remaining teams play for the A Championship.
Weekly practices are held Tuesday evenings and we travel via team bus for all away games.
