The Royals are back for another exciting season of Sr. AA Hockey in Tavistock!
Our club has had a busy offseason, recruiting and working towards building another Championship team for our fans to cheer on and enjoy!
This year we welcome 2 new Assistant Captains #18 Trevor Sauder and #14 Drew Gerth to help lead the team alongside Assistant Captain #17 Deven Kropf and 2nd year Captain #20 Tristan Hohl.
Rookies to watch out for this year include #89 Andrew van Boekel (Jr C. Braves), #19 Owen Robertson (Jr. B Warriors), #26 Tyler Reid (Jr. C Firebirds), #9 Luke Fanjoy (Jr. C. Braves), #7 Josh Stephens (Jr. B Siskins / Germany Oberliga), #12 Nicolas Thibodeau (Jr. C Braves / Jr. B Warriors) and in the net #45 Graeme Noye (Jr. C Firebirds / NavyVets).
We also have several new faces on our Executive including Tracy Medhurst (Promotions/Marketing), Grant Meadows, Chris Traynor, and Marti van Griensven.
The Royals 2024-2025 Home Opener takes place Saturday October 19th as we host the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks with a 7:30pm puck drop.
We hope to see you all out to the rink on the 19th to cheer on the guys as they look to return to the AA finals for a 3rd year in a row!
